Nutrition Study Design

Medical Missionaries has started a research study to investigate the effectiveness of a nutritional supplement for malnourished children in Thomassique.  In this study, 100 children who are severely or moderately malnourished will receive approximately two-months of Medika Mamba, a peanut-butter based treatment that has been proven 90% effective in other settings.

Based on the results of this study, Medical Missionaries might institute this as an ongoing program to improve the health of children in the region.
