In addition to providing medical care, Medical Missionaries also works to prevent illness and disease by providing clean water and better nutrition to the people we serve. The Haiti cholera outbreak required us to purchase vast quantities of medicines and supplies, cook meals for patients, hire additional staff to provide 24/7 service, and spend additional funds for sterile cleaning every day.
