St. Timothy's School Chapter

The students at St. Timothy's School in Chantilly, VA, formed
a Medical Missionaries Chapter as part of their Mission Committee. The Chapter was formed in January 2010, at the very
time Haiti experienced its devastating earthquake. The students held two drives at the school, one to raise cash to
help the earthquake victims, and one to send them hygiene packets (toothbrush/toothpaste and washcloth/soap). The students
and faculty presented Medical Missionaries with a check for $1,000 and about 2,000 hygiene packets.

The St. Timothy’s Chapter also held a drive at the
end of the school year to collect unused and lightly used school supplies. They collected a dozen boxes
of paper, pencils, pens, crayons, notebooks, and various other school supplies, including several backpacks. These
school supplies will be greatly appreciated in Banica (Dominican Republic) and Thomassique (Haiti), where the schools usually
have nothing more than benches for the students and one chalk board for the teacher.
