As might be expected, with our headquarters located not far from Washington, DC, many volunteers and supporters of Medical
Missionaries are Federal employees. Those employees now have a more convenient way to make a sustained contribution
to Medical Missionaries, through the Combined Federal Campaign (CFC).
Medical Missionaries,
Inc. has been part of this national partnership of nonprofits since 2010. The CFC was established in 1961. It is the only
government authorized solicitation of employees in the Federal workplace. Its mission is: “To promote and support philanthropy
through a program that is employee-focused, cost efficient, and effective in providing all Federal employees the opportunity
to improve the quality of life for all.” The CFC distributes more than $250 million in pledges each year to about 250
nonprofit organizations.
Medical Missionaries' campaign number
is 96258. If you are a Federal employee (including members of the military), please remember us during the CFC campaign
this Fall. If you know Federal employees, please ask them to support Medical Missionaries through the CFC campaign.
Medical Missionaries has volunteers who are available to present a program about the work we do
at your workplace or to community groups you might belong to. Please let Peter Dirr know if you would like a presentation
(peterdirr@gmail.com). Thank you for your generosity and continuous support.
