Rotary Clubs Donation
When John Hampton, International Chair of the Manassas, Virginia, Rotary Club heard that Medical Missionaries intended
to build a new wing on its clinic in Thomassique, Haiti, to accommodate patients who had to stay overnight following deliveries
or surgeries, he decided to do something to help out. He contacted the heads of the 51 other Rotary Clubs in his district
to ask if they would support the construction of the clinic wing. He continued to seek their support for almost a full year.
On June 16, on behalf of the Manassas Rotary and eleven other Rotary clubs, John presented a check for $25,000 to Medical
Missionaries.
