Medical Missionaries provides medical care and supplies for the poorest of the poor.

Medical Missionaries, a 501(c)(3) company, is a volunteer group of more than 200 doctors, nurses, dentists, and others who work to improve the health of the poorest of the poor in the U.S. and throughout the world. We provide medical care and medical supplies, clothing and food to the areas we serve.

One area of focus has been along the Haiti-Dominican Republic border. In Thomassique, Haiti, we have built and support St. Joseph Clinic (hospital), the first medical facility in this region of more than 125,000 people.

Medical Missionaries, Inc. is listed on GuideStar as a reputable and trustworthy organization to donate to.

Medical Missionaries News

Update: Hurricane Matthew in Haiti

Many have asked how St. Joseph Clinic in Thomassique fared with Hurricane Matthew. We are relieved to report that the hurricane's effect on that part of the country in the Central Plateau was mild. Lots of rain and moderate wind did not disrupt the operation of the Clinic or the lives of the villagers. The brunt of the hurricane was much more severe in Haiti's southwest peninsula, where driving wind and torrential rains have resulted in the loss of crops, homes, and lives.  We keep everyone in the southwest peninsula in our thoughts and prayers.
